HEART Clubs is a structured, extra-curricular programme for girls to build healthy self-image, body confidence and self-esteem.
HEART Clubs bring girls together to discuss, explore, and celebrate in their self-image and individuality. HEART Clubs encourage youth to reclaim a positive body image and sense of personal identity, while building self-esteem, self-worth and self-respect, acceptance and develop their voice.
HEART Clubs are designed to be non-academic, usually run outside of school time for ten weeks (Key Stage 2) and twelve weeks (Key Stage 3). Clubs are structured, using a five-part process and typically lasting one and a half hours per session.
HEART Clubs provide a comprehensive curriculum to build self-aware, confident girls. Girls will explore a range of themes including self-image, physical and emotional well-being, media literacy, healthy living, identity, sex, relationships and body confidence (Key Stage 3), and body celebration.
